Today’s training menu consists: Time Management? Or something else?

Time management is a wrong term and because of that, the techniques that were developed around it doesn’t work.

Time is a fact. 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. We don’t have the power to either reduce or increase time.

What you can change though is the results that you can succeed in that time.

And for that 3 essential skills are required:

1. For every issue or problem you need to seek for solutions and not look to put the blame on someone else. The correct thing to do is to take the responsibility you have in every case.

2. You need to set goals. You could start with daily goals and slowly slowly you will acquire the ability to set weekly, monthly etc. goals. Every goal in order to consider a proper goal it needs to be specific, measurable and have a time limit. Don’t worry if you don’t succeed your goals. No one succeed all of the goals he has set.

3. In your weekly program you need to put a time-frame first of all for the actions that are related with your goals and then to plan all other works that you have in front of you. This basically means that you need to start using a planning tool.

Seeing all the steps above you may think that this procedure is difficult just because you need to change the habit of disorganization. And as we know changing a habit is difficult and takes as out of our comfort zone.
