Team spirit and mutual trust are build through the development of mutual benefit relationships which requires 5 major steps:

1. Define and agree on the objectives / desirable results.
2. Agreement on the resources / means and potentials which will be required to succeed the goals.
3. Systematic guidance.
4. Reporting & accountability.
5. Performance implications. When the desirable results are succeeded there are positive effects (motives). When the desirable results are not succeeded then there negative effects (in the relationship there are agreed from the beginning several disincentives).

If the above framework is implemented effectively usually the objectives/targets are succeeded and in some occasions are even more than just successful.
