4 Steps to have Positive Energy
The energy that each person has is special, but we have learned to separate it between negative and positive energy.
Through the contact I have daily with people in the professional field, I have found out that most people are negative and do not realize it, so in this way they affect the other people around them.
Below I will share with you 4 steps on how to have positive energy:
1. Be surrounded by Positive People
Delete negative people from your everyday life… Find people who are positive in order to become a more positive person.
Every person adopts elements from the attitude of the people he sees every day, which is why it is very important to see and talk to positive people in order to adopt more positive energy.
2. Accept that you can’t control EVERYTHING
Most of the issues that negative people deal with, think and generally discuss are issues that they can’t control, so in this way they put themselves in a situtation that can’t do anything – and so they become even more negative.
Make a list of things that make you think negatively and then evaluate them and see what it you really can control (in essence it’s your actions only and nothing else). Here’s an interesting tool that can guide you on what we can control and what we can’t control.
3. Reward yourself for the small “wins” you achieve
When we feel that we have achieved small goals that we have set, our self-confidence increases and in general we feel much better about ourselves. This results in positivity.
What can be small “wins” – goals?
- Workout
- A timeline to finish a task
- When you do something that you feared to do before
When all these little ones happen, most of the time we don’t pay attention to them and we put even more pressure on ourselves.
It’s time to reward yourself!
4. Channel negative energy into something else and Convert it
Every time you feel and say something negative, write down how you feel at that particular moment.
So when you start to see how certain situations, individuals make you feel, you will convince yourself to ACT – that is, to change certain behaviors, inactions and to seek for the best.
That way you’ll start to feel positive about yourself!
These are 4 simple tips on how to start feeling more positive.
